Swiss Government proposes paying every adult citizen Kshs 240,000 a month to alleviate poverty . Whether working or not. Children to get Kshs 14,000 a week.

Even if the government had no money of its own, there'd still be rationality in accepting the proposal. Principally it may be a stimulus to spending and hence economic growth.

The group proposing the initiative for the pay includes artists, writers and intellectuals. I like this comment by one of the readers.
