On any other day I'd have been happy Aseno lost, as it stands I could n't give 2 shits, Utd has bigger problems at board level since those are the guys that can't see players have stopped feeling LvG and are also getting injured right, left and centre back coz of his tactics.

1 month ago Utd were 4 points behind league leaders Leicester - now Utd are 5 points behind 4th placed Spurs. I think it's a safer bet having Giggs take over in a caretaker role till summer, it's better to be playing boring football and win (like against Liverpool) than play the same way and lose. I thought the Moyes days were gone!!!

Leicester are now out of FA cup and have bought some player I don't know for 5M pounds. I think every fan is secretly hoping they win the league if their team does not win it...staying tuned.

Pep Guardiola to succeed Manuel Pellegrini as Manchester City boss

Pep Guardiola has been appointed the new manager at Manchester City for next season on a three-year deal.

The 45-year-old, currently in charge at Bayern Munich, will replace Manuel Pellegrini, who will leave on 30 June.

A statement from City said Chilean Pellegrini, 62, was "fully supportive" of the decision.

The Premier League club also revealed that negotiations with Guardiola had been "a re-commencement of discussions that were curtailed in 2012".

Pellegrini was appointed at the Etihad in 2013 and led the club to the Premier League and League Cup double the following season.

Sad news for ManUtd. Only way for ManUtd to get back on track is hire Mourinho. Running of the football club has not been good enough since Ferguson left.

Any Utd fan who thought Pep was coming to Utd was in Utopia - the director of football and the ceo of City both worked with Pep in Barca and have been trying to create the structures for Pep to join City since they came. It was as sure as the sun rises in the east.

Utd have bigger problems than Pep going to City. Qualifying for CL is a must - I'm not sure LvG will take us there and if Giggs can take Utd over the line if he was appointed till Summer (assuming for example Utd lose to Stoke today). You can't admire your neighbour's new benz when your toyota won't start.

Why can't Utd just play the way they did jana and remove us from the agony of watching inconsistent displays??? I don't think there's been a more annoying team to watch this season - you just CANNOT tell what team will turn out on any given day!!!

Still waiting for the Leicester bubble to burst but with 14 games to go, these guys look like they'll finish within Top 4, at which point LvG will be promptly sacked....assuming Spurs hold on
