Upon selection to 'newer' national schools, parents should accept and embrace these choices and stop looking for 'better' schools. So many other pupils envy the slots in these 'rejected' national schools. We should not be unthankful to God by throwing up on His shoes.

Reputation takes a long time to build.

The elite 18 national schools have been around for so long and it has taken them many years to establish themselves, performance-wise and infrastructure-wise.
As parents we should build Kenya evenly across all counties, by allowing our kids, academically to ' tembea Kenya na kujivinjari'.

I believe every pupil should transit to a high school. It is a privilege, not a right, for a pupil to be selected to a national school.
Ony 23,085 out of 927,401 got that chance in 2016.
Literally 1 in 0.927 of a million.
Let's learn to appreciate grace and favors from God.
Can I get a hallelujah!

You have fought long and hard highlighting KCPE matters. For that, thank you.

Thanks. I'm doing this Form One Selection campaign, at wazua and elsewhere, to help pupils whose parents/gurdians make bad, egoistic and illogical selections.
Previously some high scorers missed out on any government school due to this folly, i.e. Making all 4 choices from the 'elite 18 nationals'.

When pushed into a corner, use all your intrinsic and extrinsic strengths. My missives and persuasions employ critical thinking and logic.

don't even know why people stress about those schools, with just an average grade your kid can get admitted into medicine, law, engineering. Gone are the days where only a select few got such chances.
Either way the traditional courses that need very high grades for admission are not really that 'profitable', your kid stands a better chance as a finance or IT expert.
