I have Chicken cages for layers that I'm selling. details are;

capable of holding 120 birds each

120 layers

1 line to hold 600 layers
Hope is not a strategy

i toured a broiler farm recently and found out the following:-

vaccinated one day old chic is 103ksh

its cheaper to use jikos than high wattage bulbs.

You need automatic water dispensers which costs around 2k each. (they must be raised from the ground to avoid wetting.

They are slaughtered after 38 days and that there is ready market at city market in the wee hours of the morning.

Cheaper by how much? Figures would have been quite helpful. If its a large scale venture many jikos will be needed which adds to the man power needed to attend to the birds.

Maximum 42 days.

The prices those CM guys buy at are an insult to farmers
For investors as a whole, returns decrease as motion increases ~ WB

Chicken farming is a win/win!! The risk of this business whether in confinement or in free range is Mareks, Gumboro, Newcastle, Fowl Pox and Fowl Typhoid. This is how your flock can be swept overnight... You cross the tees and dot the i's on the vaccination schedule... you my friend you are a winner... Therefore, contact KEVEVAPI on vaccine schedule and prices before contacting the hutcheries.
