Kenyan Athletes spend about a month or two of serious training and from the recent IAAF they pocket about 8m. (from media reports).Applause

Now if you got this kind of money within such a short period and with as "minimum" effort, how do you balance the investment and the desire to enjoy the loot?

or do you follow this link and spend all of it on shopping?

The 8 mln is a token of appreciation from the GOK to the athletes being 1mln for each Gold Medal won and is not always guaranteed. Re-phrase your comment.

What they get from IAAF may not be known because these are private businesses between the athlete and IAAF.

Please visit Eldoret Town and you will see what they do with their money. And FYI the money is not gotten with minimum effort.I doubt you will ever work half as hard as those guys work.

Why would you want to "spy" on their investments?

First, loot is "something appropriated illegally often by force or violence". I would not want to use this term in reference to the honest earnings of these hard working athletes. Second, I think anyone who works hard for his money deserves the right to do as he wishes with it. Whatever makes him happy; buy land, build a house, marry another wife, buy beer, buy a car, go on holiday to the Bahamas, buy stocks, buy cows, buy clothes etc. Pursue happiness the best way he knows how.
