I see the ceo is foreign trained (australia).....mmmm the same thing iv been talking about.some African cultures (corruption,tribalism and egocentricism) can't support business growth BUT ....I'm starting to think twice about Mumias now that CEO isn't locally trained.heading to my broker tomorrow

Mumias sugar back on shelves...
It was amazing i could now get MSC sugar in major stores again.

He has had two previous stints with MSC, first as a production manager in the 70s and second as the last CEO when the co was being managed by Booker Tate & Lyle. He's worked in many countries and one of his longest stint was in Guyana still under Booker Tate. Though he is Australian, his interests are in Sri Lanka ,where he has a huge tea farm and also runs a golf resort. I think they are still very close with former MSC marketing manager Katherine Kihanya. If you know Katherine, then you would surely fill in the gaps without much difficulties . Will he perform?. No doubts. I actually expect profits during the second half. Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.

@VVS, For your first question, the answer is in my previous post and i wish not to expound, sorry. The profits will definitely cover. My estimate is minimum Kshs 800m. As for his contract, i think it's 2 years with the option of a renewable extra year. Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.
