I have heard of JKUAT (Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology) Taita Taveta project - confirm you are referring to KU Taita Taveta project and not JKUAT TaitaTaveta project.

No this is a project that aims at pooling investors to put up a university - the concept being that you buy shares that go into setting the university up i.e. the buildings ... then the university leases the structures from the investors and you get paid a divided ... check their website www.kenyauniversity.org ... they have been fundraising big time in the diaspora ... a single share goes for 250K

Diaspora is the easy and quick source of money.Reminds me of ANOTHER company that promised to make people millionaires with tier one and two and three.
Hope these guys are genuine.i believe people should have some legal bindings before investing not just asking for money with a sheer promise of hope.they could be genuine though

Yes - now I remember hearing about it almost two years ago. At the time I concluded it was not a viable business venture. Where would they get students from considering Taita Taveta University College is already there, a college of JKUAT? The idea was hatched by three wazees from Worcester, Massassuchetes and one passed on last year. I remember the hype - that you buy a house within the development & university will rent/lease from you. I was not sold to the idea.
