Yesterday i traveled from London to Paris in the new Eurostar and had to ask whats new about it as it was quite similar to the other old ones or what was i missing??

Well the new Eurostar has quite and elaborate mechanism, due to the high speed it travels once it brakes instead of it producing heat on the rail track there is a dynamo that converts it to electricity that is then donated to the national grid..how about that!!!

Do we see ourselves here in the near future?? RvR!!

3020 maybe.....This country is lead by hopeless idiots.....Now,did you say Euro donates the electricty for free??.......If we can grab cemeteries how so do we go about donating?...Add another 500 years to 3020!

This guys amaze me time and again...now whoever thought of that.

On the other hand UK seems to be moving backwards currency traders are sweating it out,my stand stick with the Euro, come May we might see a new UK order tough times for the immigrant!!!

Eurostar is a high speed train...we are yet to get it right on slow-speed trains (read RVR)!

C'mon.....RVR got the speed right long ago!!...Actually they doubled the slow speed by putting one engine at the front and another at the back......Very "creative"...eh??...GNN!!

...last travelled in RVR (cant remember its names by then...0 from Sultan Hamud to Mombasa. Of course the fare was ksh 30. The fun of it was sitting next to a man from the lake with his gramaphone blaring a song by Kanindo Brothers and offering you a piece of fish and some Ugali...all the way from the lake. Those were the days whhen a brother/sister was a brother/sister regardless of where s/he came from...where has that generosity disappeared to?
