Dear Wazuans.

All your opinions above on Nation Media Group observed; anybody with some insight as to what is happening to NMG please share...

Even the lowest NSE point of Aug 02-03 did not touch this share, now it's at a 52-week low.

Dividend books closed 18th Sept, I guess trading Ex-Dividend has added to the drop

Flat profits and bleak future if the company refuses to evolve quickly enough. On PE basis, still over valued at 15.

This could be a nice time time to get these shares when no one wants them. This company will evolve and thrive even if it takes a while

It has to stop relying on Daily Nation so much, the generation that is now attaining working age, rarely buy newspapers. I myself have never seen the need and none of my friends neither

Forgive my basic question, but I'm trying to learn here...

what media format does NMG lean on the most? Print, TV, Radio or Outdoor?

People no longer buy newspapers to read news since the news in newspapers is 1 day late from TV and 2 days late from social media. People buy newspapers to check tenders, notices from government agencies like KRA, adverts by private institutions like universities & trade associations, obituaries, crosswords

Print still has money in Kenya? Is it because of the duopoly of Standard & Nation?

So those who got in @136-140 range are up about 35% in paper gain in a few months. Add on a 2.50/- interim. Haven't checked volumes but I presume they're substantive.

I haven't seen any sizable volumes trading of late.

The unpredictability of a sideways market.

Traders heaven... trade the momentum, take profits and run.

In this kind of a market, make the MACD, RSI and "Bolingo" bands your best friends.
