Are Hector Diniz (Express) and Michael Matu (Olympia) related? Chris Obura is the chairman of both firms.

How does a transport company fail to soar when a large part of their cost - "fuel" falls to such low levels? Very suspect management. Its a fraud and nothing else. So they now want to sell the land? The whole remaining assets will be given away.
Time is money, so money is time. Money saved is time gained in reverse! Money stores your life’s energy. You expend your energy, get paid money, and store that money for a future purchase made in a currency.

Something is starting to smell fishy here....

Minority shareholders facing massive dilution....

What is the value of the property they own and want to develop? Major shareholder 'lends' the company funds, which he then converts to equity (by passing a rights issue), very sneaky as I see it...

Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Not quite. I think he 'lent' the firm money at crazy rates. The 'lent' is in parentheses because it reminds me of Michael Matu & his games at Olympia. He would borrow money from an Olympia subsidiary then lend money to Olympia. During the Rights Issue, he converted 'loans to Olympia' into shares in Olympia!

So MM borrowed from Olympia. Lent to Olympia. Then converted the loans to Olympia into shares in Olympia. He never repaid Olympia for the loans he took. Then there was the big scam in SA where MM owned the shares in the SA firms but funded by Olympia!

Are you confused?

Bottomline: Only MM (& family) benefitted. The same is/will happen to Express.

Serious governance issues in Express. Huyu Deniz is CEO, lender, investor, broker, director all rolled into one?

CMA has a lot of work to do to protect minority

I have a dream very soon CMA will act selectively against HAFR and ADSS to prove their sharp canines can bite. But counters with government presence(holding) will see their stocks traded as they are shielded and untouchable. Companies with government as an investor exposes Wanjiku to broader promiscuity of financial risks.

Logistics firm Express Kenya will spend Sh2 billion to construct the first phase of its housing project in Nairobi’s Industrial Area as its diversification into real estate finally starts.
