Who would have thought Man Utd would also be facing CL elimination at this point....
Yap...that was before Utd drew with PSV at OT - in my opinion that's where the campaign was lost. Having to win at Wolfsburg to be sure of qualification was just a ridiculous position to be in for Utd in one of the easiest groups. Anyway, LVG must pay the price for persisting with Rooney in all those games where Utd did not score. The team actua;;y created many chances yesterday and the Wolfsburg goalie had a good match, but it was very disappointing that all 3 goals conceded came from defensive blunders by Smalling, Schwein and Carrick...best defensive record conceding within minutes of scoring. Very disappointed. I think LvG should be released at the end of the season, whether he even wins the premier league or FA or takes Utd back to CL qualification. His tactics are not conducive for the team.
Hopefully goon squad join us for Thursday night football today, hata Chelsea are not 100% safe
