Hi all,

I'm the writer of Amar Grewal-Thethy's profile on Business Daily's Top 40 under 40 2015.

As with everyone else profiled, Amar provided his proof of age and the paperwork required for the top 40.

The 'age 27' put on his profile was an editing error by Business Daily.

As Amar collected his award at the Gala dinner last night, one of the first things he pointed out is that he is 34 years old, not 27 years as published. There is available video evidence of this as well.

The judges of the Top 40 Under 40 knew that Amar is 34 years old, and he fully qualified to be part of the list.

Thanks.

True, I knew these people read stuff here when whatever I have said should be done is actually done. Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly

Mr./Ms writer of the article, how does an editing error move from 34 to 27? Those numbers are knowhere near each other on the computer. Neither can someone say they mistook the number 4 for 7 or vise versa.

We don't believe you.

You wanted to sell the headline and Wazuans caught you. It was so ugly a mistake even Amar got scared his fake age had been discovered.

Some Business Daily Africa reporters are actually resident wazuanas. I believe one Rufus Mwanyasi MUST be the chartist in the BLUE section.

One of them must have told their masters that their lies have been exposed by a certain online forum.

I second this. If you look at Business daily articles most are based on good analysis and facts and thus they enjoy a lager reference here. Remember when we complained about KK doing everything chini ya maji, they come out making some news on their plans. Wazua has taken roots every media or business person has moles in Wazua.

I stopped reading it when they featured 3 people I knew who were obvious lies. Agewise and achievement wise.

The organisers should be investigated on how they select the winners. Also this thing of voting only calls for investment in airtime for your friends to vote.

I'd believe you.... I once saw someone I know featured and they really confused me because I thought probably they owned the company they were running and I probably dint know... only for them to move on to another company.... and this is not even a big company... If I mentioned it here, and which I will not, you'd wonder if it existed in Kenya. Few will have heard of it, yet, I know other entrepreneurs who have done so much and no one mentions them..... just because they are not in the "showbiz/limelight/etc. Many reporters just don't lift a finger to look for really who are TOP... ni oh, you are making a few millis A YEAR... you trend with the latest fashion, live in a middle class neighborhood, you are top!
