This upthrust is going nowhere. Maybe @Obiero buying in an attempt to hullabaloo a rally for his friends to exit at a lower loss.

Huyu jamaa amekuja na bahati mbaya sana hapa wazua. He is literally nose diving the plane to KES 2.. A low of 4.25 today. Tomorrow KES 3.90 will be seen. Sad to observe this..

Is the share trading in negative territory?? Ofcourse there are still people invested in this share who need immediate assistance.. Book value of @KenyaAirways shares is negative KES 22.63 per share. Thats why im sensing a case for suspension from trading

@Obeiro unfortunately fell to pallbearers, detractors and selective justice.

ARM seeks Sh10.7bn in private bond
Quote:
The cash will be used to retire expensive short-term debts that saw ARM’s finance costs more than triple to Sh1.1 billion in the nine months ended September.

“The proceeds from the five-year bond will be used to replace existing short term borrowings. There is no increase in total debt only refinancing existing short-term debt,” said Pradeep Paunrana, chief executive of ARM Cement.

KQ will be back. Dont let my comments confuse anyone.. Its js a bad moment for the airline.. Btw, I had a prediction of KES 7.4B loss, never mentioned a profit. If Ngunze had announced even a modest increase in both loss before tax and loss after tax, we would be at 7bob. Anywho, lesson learnt, cut losses at restricted point e.g 20% dip

You were more or less right about the 7.4 billion loss,if we remove the 4.something billion "other costs"...you are point on .

@Obiero. Are you listening to yourself " If ngunze had anounced even a modest increase in both loss before tax and loss after tax"

Why are you struggling with and making excuses for a firm deep in losses, where you are looking for losses to reduce, while there are companies in the NSE making 15- 32 billion PAT per year.
The investor's chief problem - and even his worst enemy - is likely to be himself

Every business shall face such challenges from time to time. The turnaround is the crux of the matter and I believe in the story as engineered by @ngunze

Best KQ can do is breakeven. Don't see them ever making money in their current form. The company would have to change radically in busiess model, operating model, organization design and culture.
