With the current drama unfolding in the banking sector I'm keenly following this counter. GoK debt drama and this gok bank promise to stage a nice thriller. NBK has issues regardless of high T-Bill rates or a bear market. It is under-capitalized [poor CARs] and lives on the largesse of GoK. If its loan book was assessed using metrics of more conservative banks, it would be closed down faster than Imperial Bank! True. That is why GoK will soon combine NBK, Consolidated and Development banks. In a few months.. Wedge breakout to the downside as price prints below 15 handle to close at 14.80. Sharp plunge coming up! @Hisah. You predicted the current bear market 1 year ago. How do you do it? I'll look for one of the old posts for perspective. @muchur. a few months ago You denied this was a bear market, Are you still in denial? When bogus stocks (small caps) started parabolic rallies that was the red flag that the market had run out of quality. Kenya Orchards was the loudest signal that a top was forming. I then kept scooping all the NSE20 heavyweights and noticed Equity, britam and ICDC had run to utopia and that's when I issued the golden handcuff warning.$15/barrel oil... @Boris. Foreigners don't like kk. But when it starts rising, you will see them on buy side pushing volumes The investor's chief problem - and even his worst enemy - is likely to be himself

The 'owners' may be local but the ownership is foreign. Why are they selling? I do not know. Where do his kids live? [I saw that with CFC Bank. After the wazee retired/died, the kids started selling off the shares. I believe the sale of CFC to Stanbic was engineered to allow the kids exit at a good price without flooding the market with shares]. Greedy when others are fearful. Infact I hope the bounce holds until Q2 2016, then we get the proper selloff to test 2011 lows. This is in order to confirm if that low was solid or not. A bull that starts from that low will be awesome if the bulls are to blow away the NSE20 6161 all time high barrier. $15/barrel oil... This one definitely goes to the buy watch list. $15/barrel oil... The commodities lehman moment arrives as well as Sovereign debt volcano!

You're spot on with the charts but where will liquidity to support this mini rally come from? Or has the reverse repos cash hit your account?
