Things are getting real in the NSE. KCB at 38.25!!

NSE20 prints 3,829.31. As usual during a sustained downtrend the fellows at NSE don't post the day's closing figures Sad

$15/barrel oil... The commodities lehman moment arrives as well as Sovereign debt volcano!

Market closure 3pm EAT. Why does it take ages to post the day's metrics for an already automated market? NSE needs a competitor in order to wake up and style up.

@pesa your highlight is on NSE25.

Some competition will make them wake up.

This thread is growing quieter by the day as the NSE gets hot. If and when the resistant stocks fall, we should be at 3500 easy.

Outright manipulation! The market has tanked, revenues will be down.

This market stinks if indeed they intend to make the NSE stock a bellweather in a bear. Nonsense!

The market has already forgotten Stockbrokers suspend trading at NSE over capital gains tax row

yes due to unexplained technical hitches. At the end of the day nobody is bigger than the market but I'm sure they'll at least try.

When can we start shorting? This one was to rank high on no-brainer plays.

I've respected the plunge protection teams on NSE, Saf, Equity. They are always on their job

@mnandii, SPT, sparkly have a look at the NBK long term chart. Can you spot the falling wedge breakout!!! The price will plunge very sharply!

With the current drama unfolding in the banking sector I'm keenly following this counter. GoK debt drama and this gok bank promise to stage a nice thriller.

NBK has issues regardless of high T-Bill rates or a bear market. It is under-capitalized [poor CARs] and lives on the largesse of GoK. If its loan book was assessed using metrics of more conservative banks, it would be closed down faster than Imperial Bank!

True. That is why GoK will soon combine NBK, Consolidated and Development banks. In a few months..

Wedge breakout to the downside as price prints below 15 handle to close at 14.80. Sharp plunge coming up!
