Stocks Vs Land

In 4 months time, I will have the option of either buying stocks at NSE at discounted prices, or buying a piece of land worth 1.5 million that I intend to use for real estate purposes in future. In light of current circumstances, I am torn between the two investments. Which one should I take? Bear in mind that I am young, just off campus...with no investment in land and with a finance background. Since men have learned to shoot without missing, I have learned to fly without perching

When your stocks flip x3 if u play your cards right. you can always buy the land. The investor's chief problem - and even his worst enemy - is likely to be himself

Okay. I would say that I have above average knowledge in both types of investments, so I guess putting the money in T-Bonds is out of question. The dilemma persists. Since men have learned to shoot without missing, I have learned to fly without perching

Good one @VVS. Indeed GOK paper offers highest net returns, minimal risk and acceptable liquidity. Life is short. Live passionately.

Obviously @JonJones thinks he is much better off going for stocks or land. Greedy when others are fearful. Very fearful when others are greedy - to paraphrase Warren Buffett

The answer may not be either stocks or land, but a decision that buys you time to Learn. That should serve for a lifetime of gains

Land needs a little bit more, start doing research and decide why you are buying; and selling is another whole procedure.
