i dont see advertising being an issue in the long term except for low quality broadcasters like utugi. this is a smart play for the future. what we often forget is that Kenya is one of the most populous countries in the world and is an aggregation of multiple ethnic nations. it will have over 80 million people by 2050 and GDP is growing. there are small countries like Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic etc that have 10 million people or less but can sustain multiple media voices.
All my friends are heathens, take it slow. Wait for them to ask you who you know. Please don't make any sudden moves.

Forgive me but I see no purpose of these tribal stations.

If you are watching so that you can feel at home or feel as a society, then you need to get more friends.

Me zinks zat from a biz point of view Utugi is spot on in their strategy. They are not just targeting vernacular(Kikuyu) but the Kikuyu farmer.

All the rest are just competing on the same parameters. Just that Inooro maybe has better quality

At this rate every village will have a Tv station. I think we need to be more innovative than this.
