Even the lizards in Biafra were suffering coz they were the only remaining meat the Biafrans could get for free. as a results the lizards had to become cleverer to survive.

I dont know how i missed this book review tsk!

@Muganda u mean to say this review is over!!! i think we didnt have a guideline on this review...it suffices to say it was not inclusive.maybe next time we should set some ground rules.

Btw i have all her interviews and talks for those interested you can talk to me nicely.

Mine boy is a good read but aih!! for some it would bring school memories.How about we do "Purple Hibiscus" if this review is truly over...

I agree, but when you are talking to yourself one mutters less loudly, in a less structured way, and for a shorter time.

@selah, interesting question. Didn't catch the interview but now that you say it, I noticed that in the book there's no picture of very happy marriage. Infidelity in all the marriages that were potrayed in the novel - difficult to completely hide a writer's beliefs.

@bkismat Laughing out loudly A friend told me there are great fears that make man tremble. I only recall...
-fear of poverty
-fear of loneliness
-fear of failure
-fear of rejection
-fear of death

In the book you come face to face with the first one.

Actually no; I was keen on it because it helps one read more. Some guys once again proposed we chew on Njenga Karume's - Charcoal to Gold.

I bought the book and started reading, and even started another thread, but I didn't want a one person club smile

I have started reading Purple Hibiscus.Will check if I can get the Njenga Karume book.
