Why not? The process of NHIF paying is that a NHIF-Approved doctor must certify that the kind of treatment you are going for out there is not available in Kenya. That's what I gathered from someone. In such a case, I don't see why they shouldn't pay; after-all its govts responsibility to ensure the treatments are available locally.
