Apart from that minor retracement this would have been the best place to buy, adding on to the long position at 1126.

The confirmation is that Gold is a safe haven metal, in times of economic slowdown investors prefer to sell stocks which are losing value and keep their value in the form of Gold.

The volume that has been churning in GBP pairs this year is the highest in 10yrs! If GBP falls after this volume spike, that slide will be breathless!

Added another gold short @1125 and staying short gold. Target still remains 1000 or lower.

Gold and oil have been my favourite short trades this year!

Hi,

I am a Kenyan investor looking to trade FX, Commodity & CFD indices from Kenya.

I am looking for suggestions and advice with regard to reputable and regulated brokers who facilitate this.

Thanks

USDJPY bollinger bands on the daily timeframe closely tightening. Big move expected soon. Weekly is turning down so the next move will likely be down.

FXCM says it has been hacked

Again this famous FX retail broker is in the headlines for the wrong reasons! Since SNB killed their euro peg back in Jan this year the forex event risk scale alarm went red... The likelihood of a systemic event is ripe!

Great analysis, thanks for sharing.

do you have any online resources you would recommend on the Elliott wave theory?

Have you traded USDZAR pair? What's your take on it?

Thanks. You can download the 'Elliott Wave Principle - Key to Market Behaviour' pdf book. Just google and you'll get it.

Also google [Elliott+Wave+Educational+Video+Series]

NB: I don't want to appear to recommend piracy..
