Scientists already found fossilised bacteria on Mars so for sure there is other life out there.

As for religion people will always misinterpret the teachings.

The big questions aren't about books or religions. These have always been changing and coming in great variety.

The big question is how human understanding and appreciation of itself will change. What will happen to you.

Yuri Milner: Alien-hunting Russian billionaire behind $135m push to find extraterrestrial life

The man financing Stephen Hawking's push to find alien life is a two-time college dropout named after the first human being to travel into space.

Russian billionaire Yuri Milner made his fortune as an internet entrepreneur and is currently estimated to be sitting on a fortune of some $US3.4 billion.

The 53-year-old dropped out of a physics PhD at Moscow State University, and later an MBA program at the University of Pennsylvania.

He explains his interest in science by saying he believes he was a physicist in a past life.

Mr Milner and Professor Hawking have announced a $135 million project to scan the heavens for signs of alien life.

the biggest issue i have with these alien stories is that the aliens in them look like disfigured humans! like really? if life was to evolve on other planets - who says it would follow the same path as ours?
you know? primordial soup... RNA, DNA e.t.c.? and the odds of that happening... why would we think it would replicate itself almost to the letter and end up with bipedal organisms with "heads" and "brains" in their heads, 2 eyes e.t.c. UNLESS life is actually planted ... Kinda like what what Star Trek Alluded to ... we may have the same progenitors who embeded "seed" genetic code to guild the evolution of us and the aliens we thing are out there into the humanoid form we know (2 hands, 2 legs, torso, head, brain, eyes e.t.c)

We are also alien to them.

Some light reading recommendations for the weekend...

Google the Dogon tribe in mali and what they learned from 'them'.

Planning to read After Disclosure...

Interesting comprehensive reasearch into hii maneno in that book.

Everything and anything happens in the mind. The key is in how our minds work.

Why do we at times behave as if things exist in a vacuum?
Eagles don't flock, you have to find them one at a time.

They've always been here, for thousands of years. All religious texts attest to this. Just read them critically.

I thought we all agreed 'WE' also have Aliens here in Wazua whose language is only understandable to just themselves? Plus very few of us know each in real live. Could we then agree we are majorly alien to each other?

As in the days of Noah...but it's more politically correct to call them aliens than it is to call them demons or angels.

The world is full of aliens, just peep under a microscope. and we know more about space than what is under the sea

You have not realized that everything came from the same thing that exploded? Why then would they be different?

On what could you possibly base your wild imagination that life on planet x should be different from life in planet d? When they all came from the same big bang of that thing that exploded?

The biggest issue you have should be with your brain.

I have finally figured out the big bang theory: In the beginning, there was nothing. Then it exploded!
