in very simple language
1. you cannot register a car in kenya if it's more than 8 years old. it does not matter which custom port you use be it eldoret, jkia, malaba, namanga or mombasa.
2. for you to register a car in kenya duty must be paid to KRA unless exempted by applicable law eg diplomatic cars, agricultural tractors, car owned by self for at least 2 years outside kenya etc.
