Whats the best use of this

I have a plot 50by100 in Ngoingwa thika. Slightly inside from the main tarmac but has 3 road access.

I have already put up a perimeter, gate and water is already connected. Electricity is just dropping a wire and i had received a quotation for 35k in 2012 which i didn't finalize.

I have an 8-5 job but free the rest of the time including weekends.

Wazuans whats the best use of this plot before i embark on building a permanent house in 4yrs time.

I dont want to be disturbed by county gvt officials like if i put a car wash etc

Help a brother make money.

Let me be the first to help this brother.

Visit the Real Impact organization around Maporomoko estate and learn how to grow Masukuma and spinach in bags.

Invest in the bags and have 100 of them in the plot.Plant skuas in 50 bags and spinach in another 50 bags.

Each bag should give you 150 per week hence 15000 weekly.

Your investment will include

1.A ka house for the caretaker
2.The bags that don't come cheap
3.Manure
4.Seedlings
5.Water and water tank.
6.8 weeks of patiently waiting for the 1st harvest.

Send me a few bunches after the first crop.😊

waooh! thanks @big chick. thats a positive start to my thread. I have a chicken project somewhere else so manure is plenty. I have some cash that i can allocate up to 100k for the time being since i want just to utilize the plot. for sure if i pick on this a whole gunia of spinach will come your way

I wanted to advise you on the same line but doing indigenous veges (terere and the like)
That gunia strategy seems nice though

How much are these gunias? I cant use chicken feed gunia?let me google them.

Its a special kind of gunia made from shade net material.They sell at 1000 per bag at the Real Impact place.However after you have learnt the technique and settled on the project,talk to me I will get them for you at between 600 and 700.

By the way 134 bags is equivalent to 1 Acre of land.Your plot can comfortably carry 2 acres of bags.I recommend you start with 100 then expand if the output is good.

I saw a photo of that large ngunia and the sight of sukumas sprouting in all directions looked untidy..
for lack of a better description,like a rastaman with unkempt dreads..
