Curious about the above...does anyone have an idea of what the penetration level is in our market as far as online and mobile trading goes? What brokers/investment banks are doing this and how well is it being received by the market? What do the charges and commissions look like...?

Typically there are no additional charges. For every buy/sell transaction the standard charges are the stockbroker fee of 2.1% of the value and a transaction levy of 0.12% of the value.
