Asking for a friend. I hope you're fine @realtreaty. This stock still has a lot of tail risk to cover.

In 2014 the results cme in on 20th August. OK this year its still as dump s the weather outside. Hope the calcultors are not foggy and we will see clear positive results Monday 24 to Friday 28. Still I stand for 5-20% growth and a detail next step on the now quiet R/Dawat Bramer-Britam ownership.

Bear is not over so expect further fair value losses on the equity portfolio.

Then "re-audit" of its financial statements will be conducted saying there were some articles that weren't put into books.then they will give an actual loss to be larger than the one done on ealier financial reportings then shareholders will clap their hands in applause .

We all know of the bear retreat. Its not Britam alone, look Barclays @ 13, KCB, Equity below 50, Coop below 20 etc. For those who rely on spring make use of your money to buy and buy cheaply.

The removal of anything to do with Bramer bank owners in Britam Mauritius (R/Dawat) will greatly enhance Britam Kenya back to its original price after the bear fades away.
The stock was delivered in such a way it avoided them like prague showing that its on its own though with depressed earnings. That the reason it is on a rebound as more investors rush in. Though it could stagnate at 18, its real value is between 23-30 Kes

It'll be a long while before britam trades around 25 - 30 range. I expect the recent low at 14 to be broken down as the year ends. As per the current trend it's easier to head towards 10 than above 25.

As I said the Mauritius Govt did not heed my advice and they could hve offloaded it when it was at 24. The best thing is a single buyer is sought. Could it be me, HFCK, Dangote, Helios, Equity?

Govts are lousy equity investors! When professionals offload (distribute) sizable chunks they keep quiet as well as when accumulating (buying)! This is done deliberately to control (manipulate) the price moves. It's been a yr since I called britam a golden handcuff trap. Nothing has changed! Seems like the lessons are not being learnt!? When this thing leaks below 10 the carnage will force through those lessons.
