Hi all,

I am looking to fence a 5 acre piece of land in the Kitengela area.

The area has a lot of rocks which I am hoping to capitalise on to build the fence. The sort of fence I am hoping to do is where the stones are piled/stacked up to a certain height all around the land. I have a photo of what the final product looks like but cannot figure out for the life of me how to post it on wazua.

I am leaning towards this sort of fencing as I suspect it to be cheaper - requiring only labour- but i do not know for sure having never done it before

My q's are:

1. To anyone who has done this sort of thing what are the costs and how do these costs compare to other forms of fencing? How does this type of fencing hold up in the long run compared to other types?

2. Does anyone know of a good fundi who can do this well with minimum supervision?
