Equitel thin SIM vanishes after parent card takes over

I got the new thin SIM but after you switch to the patent SIM the Equitel toolkit disappears and dialling 076300 only gives you "wrong number" response. No respite from management hours after the promise to fix it shortly. Any idea out there how to avoid a manual stitch every time I need to revert to Equitel?

I had this problem so many times, I ended up switching back to the conventional SIM card.
