No competition to kengen;this is for the production of the solar power panels to be used in offshoot locations or places not very near the electric grid.

noted@Ericsson, if that the case kplc is the loser, because if the panels are affordable even those near electric grid will opt for solar
KPLC is in the business of selling electricity to the end-user. Unless the Solar Farm guys can set up the 'last-mile' (to the consumer) then KPLC remains their preferred buyer.

There are signs of a "U"Turn to maybe goodness. This may leverage at 18 till Mauritian govt sells off their candy if they win their court cases on R/Dawats

Candy with the youth again and getting sweeter day by day. I wish I got some more when it was at 14.70 Kes.
The HY2015 is knocking door and windows. If positive it will be up to its nesting cage at 29-34 Kes.

HY2015 may be out on Friday 14 2015 morning. What are tea girls and Office messangers saying? Have they been told to make it a sell option as a gossip to see the turn of events when it reports a 6- 10% growth. Who is selling and who is buying.
What statement will be there in connection with R/Dawat of Bramer Bank on Britam holding?
Waiting, wish that tea girland messanger were my good friends--------THE NEW TRENDS IN DOING BUSINESS IS USING LOW CANDRE STAFF TO GIVE OUT GRAPEVINE!!!

Similar happening at CIC.
If UAP was listed it could have suffered the same fate;how is the share price trading at the OTC at 200;issued shares is 211mn giving it a mkt cap of ksh.42.2bn.
Profit before tax was ksh.2.3bn
Net profit after tax was ksh.1.67bn

Applause
Exactly the reason why I sold UAP when Centum cashed in. Why would Centum cash in their jewel unless it was ripe for harvest? Old mutual bought at a premium price. Do they know what they're doing? Only time will tell.

@200 UAP's trailing PER is 28. What is the justification for this excessive overvaluation? Nothing. Just greed floating the price beyond fundies. This is why one has to be cautious with OTC price disconnects. UAP would be falling like britam if it was in the NSE. Actually britam looks better vs UAP with the current metrics. This coming from the one that has been bearish britam since Sept 2014...

@mukiri, this is why I sold UAP.

Has UAP release HY2015 results?

In 2014 the results cme in on 20th August. OK this year its still as dump s the weather outside. Hope the calcultors are not foggy and we will see clear positive results Monday 24 to Friday 28. Still I stand for 5-20% growth and a detail next step on the now quiet R/Dawat Bramer-Britam ownership.
