Mzee Ojwang wasted his money and fortune to alcohol and women. I got little sympathy to brains that wast their lives thinking society owes them something.

Any evidence? He looks like a good family man to my eyes.

infact KBC marketed them for free. why didn't they think of going commercial with their comedy like churchill or any other way? why depend of pay and handouts month in month out?

that's what I am drilling into akina @Alba's heads - NO ONE OWES YOU NOTHING!! Use and get Used! Akina Ojwang used to have some gigs.... I remember at the end of vitimbi they would self advertise and say that they would be at the "Ngong hills hotel" for shows!

Mzee Ojwang died a hero.He managed to achieve what most of us can only dream about. He left his lucrative career in Nursing at Kenyatta hospital to do his passion. He was happy and passionate about what he was doing. He wasn't perfect but he pursued his dreams.
Most of us are caught up in dead end jobs for the sake of money. That's why we have doctors and nurses who can watch a patient die because it is not their passion but they are there just because of money.
We have very corrupt police officers who allows terrorist to come to the country because the only thing they care about it money.
It is sad to wake up to a job you that you hate.
So many parents previously discouraged their children to become artists and musicians.Mr Ojwang travelled through the unfavourable route. The route of ridicule and being looked down upon. When the success and achievements of a person is measured only in monetary terms.A thankless society with a sheep mentality.
Churchill and his crew are enjoying the fruits of his hard work and dedication.I celebrate him.
Consistency is better than intensity

Then why were vitimbi crew castigating KBC that they were not paid enough money?
They would have been satisfied with other achievement, like being on TV every Wednesdays and Sundays and dancing on Moi days at Nyayo stadium.

Were they forced to work for KBC, dance at the stadiums etc?If the work you are doing is not paying, quit and find the one which is paying you better. In life , passion is for the rich, survival is for the poor!
If Obiero did it, Who Am I?
