anyway, I think the vitimbi crew were content with what they were getting, and they seem like a happy lot, fully satisfied and exited by what they were doing - the only thing that got to them, at least from the interviews they have given - was the unexpected termination.

You are not stating anything we haven't already said. In fact you are making our point which is that VoK/KBC exploited their actors because they did not have other options. Whichever way you slice it, VoK actors were exploited. The fact that there was only one station available does not make it acceptable.

Its kinda like slavery, where people were exploited because they could not defend themselves. That does not make slavery acceptable.
