As part of its national research capacity-strengthening mandate, CNHR invites applications for Research Career Development Grants (RCDGs) from qualified Kenyan researchers (currently based in Kenya or working within the Diaspora) who wish to further develop their careers while undertaking research and training programmes in Kenya. The grants aim at enabling successful applicants to obtain high-quality research training that will lay the foundation for a successful independent research career. In the long-term, the aim is to build a critical mass of researchers undertaking relevant research-for-health for the betterment of Kenyans.

Hey great work Thiong'o, thanks for sharing. There are alot of scholarships out there, I will look for the link and post it. For people who are in their first year in the US, the Gates and I think Soros foundation give scholarships to cover your tuition. If you are in Kenya, I would encourage you to check them out.

We are looking for two Interns to be attached to the Centre for Research on Financial Markets and Policy at KBA for six months (1st October 2012 to 31st March 2013). We will be accepting applications from Masters in Economics students in their second year of study who have finished course work. Those who have graduated with Masters in Economics will be given preference. Graduates of Banking, Finance, Commerce or Accounting in their second years of masters are also acceptable. Stipend is 30,000/= per month (taxed at 10%). They can send their CVs to research@kba.co.ke as early as they can but not later than Thursday 30th August 2012 (by close of business).

Executive: Premier Customers in the Customer Service Division.
Reporting to the High Value Team Leader, the incumbents’ shall be
responsible for:
