Trust me Raila name the 2nd Prime Minister of Kenya, the man who claims to have fought tooth and nail for demoncracy in Kenya... would be there if he lectured at UON ... Trust me, you can take that to your nearest Family bank. And his name is there.. tho for the right reason.. go look for it. Those who were taught by Raila in the 70s....purported Engineers...are in their 50s Engineers retire at 70+..at least those I know. Wake up and smell the coffee, we accepted and moved on. If UoN does not have a list of all their lecturers you think they would create one specially for RAO? Also your mathematics is off. You must have failed KCSE Maths. If a person attended UoN in 1970 then he is likely in his late 60s now. Perhaps even 70s since students were much older then. Most of these are retired especially if they were civil servants. Given Kenya's life expectancy, perhaps half are deceased. There are numerous websites including the BBC, encyclopaedia Britanica that state that RAO was a lecturer at UoN. I suppose you think all these websites are in some kind of conspiracy to lie on his behalf BTW, Kiraitu Murungi who has know RAO for over 30 years says in this interview that RAO was a lecturer. Is he lying? You are a typical example of a person who simply chooses to bury their head in the sand because they cannot stomach the truth. Your posts are an insight into what constitutes irrational Railaphobia. Psychologists would be interested in this thread. Hio hesabu ya miaka ina dosari. If guys taught by Baba are in their 70s,how old is Baba? that was tickling.... LOOOL... Alba is trying to (innocently) "disqualify" baba for the next election

Alba is trying to (innocently) "disqualify" baba for the next election Yes I am sure a discussion on one thread in wazua will disqualify him. Actually I actually do not care about who wins the next election. I left Kenya ages ago. I care about facts. You buddy Murchr is a conspiracy theorist who cares little about facts only about petty rumour mongering on facebook where no one can call out his nonsense. In any case I do not think his age is a secret. Kibaki, Moi and Kenyatta were no different age wise.

Babu was not part of Sabasaba 1990 but was part of 2014 Sabasaba
There is a lot of revisionist history and lies about the 1982 coup. Back in 1982 RAO and several other lecturers from UoN such as Ali mazrui, Maina wa Kinyatti, Otieno Mak Onyango etc were detained and charged with treason. But the charges were dropped for lack of evidence. Only Maina wa Kinyatti was ever charged. However RAO was detained for 8 years without charges. I suppose you think this is appropriate. Why would Moi drop treason charges if the lecturers were directly involved ? Dozens of UoN students were also arrested and accused of being involved including Musalia Mudavadi, his current aide Kibisu Kabatesi, governor Isaac Ruto, MP Shem Ochuodho, Wachira Waruru and a former mean Machine legend. I believe only Adungosi was ever charged though falsely. It is indeed true that most of these lecturers and students supported the coup. I do not blame them. If I was them I would support the coup too. At the time, there was no democratic space in Kenya. You could not criticize the govt. If you did you would be detained without trial. It was like living in a gas chamber. People take this for granted now. But at the time, many felt that a coup was the only option. But the lies and revisionist history of late makes it look like RAO was the brains behind the coup. This is laughable. If you look at how poorly the coup was executed you immediately realize it was the work of a few air force junior privates. These people thought that taking over broadcasting house amounted to a coup. baba was in '82 coup planning. He has never denied it. You have told people to read across many sources and not to attempt to revise history. Tell us where mbamba denied his involvement. In Nigerian author Babafemi Adejo's biography of him, direct reference is made of his involvement in the planning not just supporting the plotters in their brief moment of glory whether he was right or wrong is another issue altogether
