A friend is thinking of buying a cheap and reliable car for short errands town-thika etc. He is torn between an NZE and a nissan b15. He has two offers on the table. Nissan b15 clean KBA (250k) and Toyota NZE clean (KBA) (480k). He has had a mechanic inspect both cars and the mechanic had given them a clean bill of health. Which one is the better deal? Is the NZE really worth the extra 230k?

With b15 atachekwa kwokwote aendako!

The b15 will get the job done. The best tool is the cheapest one that can do the job. Invest the 'saved' 230k elsewhere.

7 years ago was faced with same dilemma between B15 (450k) and NZE (950k)

Kenya is Toyota country and so re-sale value of Toyota is high. If the friend intends to re-sale it Toyota is good choice.

Went for B15 and the car has never failed.Only been to mechanic for service, tyre changes and have replaced the shock and springs. Fuel efficient.

The B15 front side lamps used to be a hot cake with the parking boys but had it secured. Siku hizi i haven't seen those guys around globe and ngara who used to steal these lamps - heard they were all shot.

@kawi254,
What brand shocks and springs did you have fitted and can recommend to me where you had it done?
