Roho Safi "the Bold and the Beautifull" was huge those days. Must have been the first soap to hit the Kenyan TV scene.

As kids we were totally addicted even with the kissing scenes btn Ridge (RichLaughing out loudly Laughing out loudly ) and Brooke or caroline providing the occasional discomfort.

B&B was No.3.

The first two soaps hit our screens at around the same time. These were:- "NO ONE BUT YOU" and "THE RICH ALSO CRY".

Mambo Leo was before habari on Monday to Friday. After habari we had that program of where Moi was on Monday. Press conference by kipserem Martim was Tuesdays, professional view by James Om[someone] was Wednesday. I even remember Tuju one came on matters HIV aids...how I remember this is because I was having nightmares (at standard 5-6) of getting infected by mosquitoes... He explained it elaborately I nyitad... My next worry was Menengai crater erupting...coz it was dormant and that meant we kinda didn't know when it would decide to lipuka... Ah!! Youth!!
