I think my up bringing was completely different from other wazuans. Because, I only heard a few girls discuss that show and one boy. Don't weasel out! this is code for ... "WE AND OUR NEIGHBOURS DIDN'T HAVE A TV, I ONLY MET A FEW PEOPLE WHO HAD TVS WHEN I WAS GROWING UP!" which is fair... we don't determine where we are from so no shame in that! True TVs were not popular that time, but even today, when the soap craze is at the highest, I still cant tell you which soap is which because i only see them when switching channels... i cant stand them... one bit.... afro-cimena either! or is it a digital box we don't have

Roho Safi "the Bold and the Beautifull" was huge those days. Must have been the first soap to hit the Kenyan TV scene. As kids we were totally addicted even with the kissing scenes btn Ridge (Rich ) and Brooke or caroline providing the occasional discomfort. The first two soaps hit our screens at around the same time. These were:- "NO ONE BUT YOU" and "THE RICH ALSO CRY". IF YOU EXPECT ME TO POST ANYTHING POSITIVE ABOUT ASENO, YOU MAY AS WELL SIT ON A PIN

Must have premiered on the then VoK in mid 1979 or early 1980. Those old enough will remember the Ewing cast above. Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.

Your right, couldn't get the sequence right but I certainly remember the ooh so beautiful Racquel. @Njung'e, Dallas was before my time proper, what I remember about it is that it came long past my bed time. Hizo zingine, i didnot like them kwanza that Wild Rose (b$%#@) the lady was too much causists for me. I never liked women who cause drama!!! Formal education will make you a living.
