Strathmore Business School blocks Keri road

C & P from a pal: There is a convenient road connecting the Madaraka side of Ole Sangale road and the Mbagathi road side of the same road, passing between Strathmore Business School and Strathmore Auditorium; KERI ROAD. I use this road to drop my kids to school or to get home when I come off Mbagathi road and I guess many other motorists, particularly those who have homes along this road, find reason to use this road which I believe is public. A couple of weeks ago, Strathmore put up boulders similar to those in front of the British High Commission and restricted use of this road by the public. Strategically placed are mean looking askaris who re-direct motorists off this road. A number of times I have defied the apparent restriction in use and driven past the askaris but today I noticed that they had closed off the Madaraka side of the road. Not even more important state installations like State House or the Department of Defence Headquarters close off the roads in front of their premise and I wonder if I am the only one miffed by such impunity by an institution associated with the Opus Dei, that claims to espouse “ethical practice” and responsibility to the society! How do we get Strathmore and associates to behave? End quote Any suggestions? "When the pupil is ready to learn, a teacher will appear." -- Zen proverb
