Take deposit slip and pass through a machine thats just adjacent to drop box. The slip is stamped.
Tear off original slip, wrap in the cash/cheque,put in.the envelope and seal.
Drop the envelope in box.
Retail duplicate slip as your copy.( contains stamp)
After 1-2 hrs you receive sms on the mobile no you left indicating details if transaction.
I have those slips i did with.

So who confirms that you have actually deposited cash before the deposit slip is stamped?

The box is opened every hour by 2/3 individuals under cctv. If there are anormalies you're notified in sms. The cctv gives evidence. Ever done deposit at ATM? Anyway it doesn't mean there couldn't be colluding but its higher % secure. Colluding could mean a lot of effort. Inserting less cash and filling more cash would inconvinience one. Simply i think its based on morality.
Ahhh, yes. Kenyans do very well on that score. From the guy at the top, his father, his father's successor, his deputy, etc down to the cop on a beat.

And the whole of the opposition!! All corrupt!!! Government AND opposition.

I am sure you just forgot that part @vvs.
Not enough ink in the world to list them. Many of those in the opposition aka Amos Wako, etc ... contributed to the burdens we now face.

Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

KCB has underutilised strength and unlockin that has proved futile across change in management.. Meanwhile, banks with much lower asset base are angling for a kill! The lion is a CORPORATE bank that needed a connected captain, unfortunately the current one has shown no signs of being a master of these turbulent waters. There is a shift in the market where Coop will emerge second after Equity in next three years

Do you have evidence to back it up or is it a hunch?

The writing is on the wall

Fact: Coop Bank will never overtake KCB in terms of profitability in the next 3yrs...@obiero take that to the bank or your nearest hospital...cos it aint happening...if you think it will...then buy some antiacids...

Coop already at number 3. Musical chairs, watch this space. Well maybe 3 yrs is on the shorter side as @deal said, but who else has analysed the NII, asset book, customer numbers.. The writing is on the wall.. www.businessdailyafrica....52/-/qne942/-/index.html

[quote=murchr]The battle for local market that has seen Co-operative Bank edge out Equity Bank from second position has been replayed by middle-tier banks that have grabbed a larger share.

Mid-tier lenders have snatched assets, customer deposits and market share over the past two years from large and small-tier counterparts, data from Central Bank of Kenya shows.

The 16 banks classified in the middle category have seen their asset base grow to Sh1.37 trillion at the end of 2014 representing 42.7 per cent of the industry total of Sh3.19 trillion, with customer deposits at 41.6 per cent of the industry total of Sh2.29 trillion.

If coop is in position two then they need to up their game and improve on ROA.

The beauty with being a consultant is that you never take any responsibilities.

If the startegy does not work , the fault belongs else where e.g the implementers, finces, climate even the air
