looks like sameer has made a turnaround and posted a pretax profit of 30%...eps of 0.54, the company has also diversified to operating sme business parks but does this justify a dividend of 10%...good for the major shareholder though...

This is one company i wish well for. One, employs many kenyans, two its resilience in the face of compe from the east, three earning forex by exports to the region and lasty I am yet to see a yana tire burst in broad daylight for no apparent reason.

Now... if only I trusted merali... I buy Yana over other tyres when price competitive coz these are 'fresh'...

Yes, even tyres can be damaged if stored (not fresh) coz made of rubber... tyres from mid-east are exposed to extreme heat + cold & get damaged... before being sent to Kenya

Am hoping sameers share price and dividends improve once sameer business park is completed&fully let out. i bought this share at 11. and there is no way am selling it at 6. so it better improve.
