Vehicle insurance-just too painful...

...my vehicle insurance expires in a couple of days. I have just gotten in touch with my agent and man, isnt the cost of insurance going past the skies! How can I pay almost double what I paid last time? Is there a way out? Anybody who has paid the new premiums? oooh shit!

Am also trembling at the thought. My insurance expires in a month.

mine was due to expire soon, so i cancelled and renewed it in feb 10 for a full yr! But alas I have only postponed the high cost for a yr...

Ngai fafa. I replaced my car this week. The insurance told me to pay 2 new rates. But I was lucky, the agent advised me to delete the old car from the cover and replace it with the new one instead of getting a new policy. that way I saved 50%...

Anyone with news on how the discounts will be given to people without accident claims?
