Your county government will most likely have officers who deal with such and so you can call them for help. The other way to do it is visit a Vet and buy cat bait. The problem here is that you might end up snuffing out innocent animals and then it might be against your local law to bait cats without authority. Finally, a good vet shop will certainly have cat repellants. All you need to do is spray it around the chicken cage and voila. The good thing about repellants is that they are not harmful to humans, act long and you are generally safe even with the law.Good luck.....ooh. i wanted to suggest you get hold of the cats and sit on them until they die,but i remembered the sight of a growling feline made you take off at full speedsmile

I keep the normal "Gicheji" kukus and they are not many.About 40 at any given time. They are purely for home consumption i.e plus the eggs.

For feeds I get maize from our shags and combine with omena and kienyeji mash from animal feed shops.

Was also taught how to do a "Gioto" pit where we throw our kitchen waste and they happily scratch there for worms.

I mostly source them from Ukambani and Kapsabet when they are young then I fatten them.

As a struggling back yard chicken farmer,i struggle with good feeds. I know this is about alley cats (Bigchick - keep a man. They repel cats) but would you you know a thing or 2 about good, organic chick feeds for kienyeji type?

The man is there and was snoring heavyly as I was mourning the kukus. He only came out after he heard the screams ready to do battle only to insult us that we were petty screaming at a cat.Nkt

Organic feeds I do not know of any. I try my best to feed then on natural foods. The maize, skumas cabbages and spinach, carrot peels and abit of Kienyeji mix plus the Omena.

The compost pit also works as they really seem to enjoy running there immediately the doors are open.

What do you expect him to do after you treated him to that powerful "mourning" nglory?
He will surely fall asleep and snore.
