Hi wazuans

I have a predicament. I need to transfer cash to field teams in northern Kenya. amounts ranging from kshs 10000 to kshs 90,000 total transfer can be amounts of kshs 5m

whats the easiest way to do this since bank transfer is not an option; most if not all recipients don't have a bank a/c?

I have been trying to open a stanchart a/c that has to mpesa option but some document from registrar of company has taken forever and i need to transfer by Thursday next week. Sad

I have heard of one that safaricom is piloting; how long does it take to activate and whats the requirement (not from safcom but from those who have used it practically)

Try equity equitel combination.
transfers will bill you zero shillngs.
contact the nearest equity branch they will send someone to signup your clients pronto.
do the math and you will see mpesa is daylight robbery.

Dahabshil pap! am not sure whether the gvt revoked their license in recent blacklisting. However if its working...its the best and very reliable..can even transfer a billion..wide coverage in all north eastern and somalia...all over..trustworthy...money never gets lost....Just google their contacts or visit their offices.

Register several safaricom lines and transfer 70000 perday per line as a temporary measure. 12 lines can transfer 5million in the available 6 days to Thursday. Expensive but can sort you out.

You could try Chase Bank. They have a bulk mpesa transfer service.Go to that office at Pwc offices at Westlands roundabout and ask for their money transfer services unit.
