BEATEN BY FATHER IN LAW

It stated as a small family quarrel,the wife in tears calls her dad claiming her husband has become violent.the father shows up moments later,manhandles this jamaa ruthlessly of cause he cant fight back his father inlaw.he sustained injuries now wants to sue.

sue? will the daughter testify against the over protective dad? not likely. another case of insufficient evidence. which ehtnic group(s) are involved here? most traditions have some mechanisms to sort out similar issues

This man beating the wife probably deserves a beating. There are better ways of solving issues.

Pia mimi napiga yeye kabisa if you lay a finger on my daughter, i flatten u kabisa. I have done it before to an inlaw and the violence stopped

He should not sue the father in law. The wife should also sue him then. I recommend him for not exchanging blows with the father in law.

Though at times women are also bad. They provoke men to beat them. In some communities, if they are not beaten they dont feel loved. So it depends.Akitaka apelekwe out ataleta kichwa.

@njung'e imagine your daughter calling you to lie? One thing i have come to see is that people who prey on the weak with violence can only understand violence.
@ja-kom If he is a first bodi he better be well protected because nitampiga na mawe(i hope that bodes well with the 'better ways' you are talking of). BTW i dont think the judge will take him seriously as there is a lot of reasoning in law.

The father in law did not solve the problem he simply scratched the surface. He needs to set up dialogue between the couple to solve the problem, what if the daughter reports to him that the hubby refuses to have sex will he come and f**k his daughter.
