Praying facing mecca like Jews pray facing Jerusalem is very ok. We only do this for unity purposes!

Even Jesus and Muhammad peace be upon them prayed facing Jerusalem. Applause

But praying infront of a statue or a corpse thinking extra blessings will be derived??? Eish bwana!!!

Gosh!! Some here are very negative as if they have been to heaven/paradise and back as witnesses.
Respect to Catholics. How do they control over 1B followers without an army. ?

very weird too. what's the biblical basis of some dead person praying for you?

It's no different from African Traditional Religion where our ancestors believed the dead have power over the living and even offered sacrifices to them!
