"I am sincerely sorry for the mistreatment we meted on you."

Apology accepted smile

"Please accept my heartfelt apologies on behalf of my brother too."

I am not sure whether to accept Tycho's apology. I am not in a charitable mood today. However, let me think about it.

You may have given too much weight to my wedge that there are no constants inside the universe at the expense of my other subtle point that there is a constant outside the universe.

The definition of the Universe in and of itself is 'that which contains all.' It does not have an inside or an outside. Thus there can not be a constant outside the Universe. There is no outside.

"How radical is your theory? Is it more 'radical' than mine?"

Not radical to me but many people find it hard to accept. Its main premise is this: "The Universe does really not exist." QED.

If you like we could take on Tycho today. It might divert focus from your charity issues.

Is all 'all'. I mean, light is fastest in vacuum which is least dense medium in the universe. So if light speed is a constant, where? So I think all is not 'all' hence universe is not 'all'.

Tycho I am not ware of what you have done, at least recently, to offend me. But, knowing you, I am sure you'll think of something.

So I am happy to bank your apology in advance.

Apology accepted.

You are welcome smile smile smile

Brother Tycho has been duly taken on.

By 'all' I meant the accepted idea that the Universe (Uni = 1) contains everything otherwise it would not be a Universe. I am aware of the Multiverse theory too but even that does not admit of anything existing outside this cosmos.

I think the constant 'c' is supposed to be the fastest speed light can attain, which in a vacuum.

Thank you. Especially when you and me are such persistent illusions, and things have a penchant for going wrong.

There are some threads that seem to have been created specifically for us. And we own such threads without apologies.

For example, Wakanyugi says the speed of light is a constant. I used to think that was true till I learnt that some 'things' can move faster than light.

Wakanyugi, is there a cosmic speed limit?
