Is OTS good margin business? Ohana never mentioned it at the AGM. I suspect they jumped in to curry favour with sirkal, Ohana mentioned that one of their strategies moving forward is to cooperate with the gaarment.
Low margin business but someone has to do it. And low risk since your cargo is already 'sold' before it lands.
Under OTS, all firms have to place an order so the product brought in is already sold. The risk is if one doesn't pay for the product e.g. Hass doesn't pay & pickup from KK but Hass risks being locked out from the OTS the next time around. KK can sell Hass' allocation though it may lose money on it and would claim it from Hass through MoE.
To recap: Small margins but profitable.
