had reached this point "...Occasionally, he would raise his head and I would knock it down gently, or firmly, depending on when, how or on what issue the head had popped" up.

Prodigal son has discovered what Orengo, Anyang' Nyong'o, Onyango Oloo etc already discovered. If you are a Luo, you cannot make it in politics without Baba.

Miguna's political career has been born.

Baba must be a very forgiving person.

Haki Miguna²... Either baba's an extremely poor judge of character or sijui. Look at all the 'pentagon' members and now the 'principles'. All these Ps seem to elude him including the big P.Laughing out loudly

For 100points how do you know the 'Peoples President' will fail too?Laughing out loudly

BBI will solve it

Clearly, Miguna is irrelevant without Raila. His life is based around Railaism.

This is what happened to Sheikh Khalid Balala of Islamic Party of Kenya in the 1990s. From a 2005 article
Quote:
The Kanu government felt so threatened by the preacher that it took advantage of his trip to Germany, which also coincided with the expiry of his passport, to declare him a non-Kenyan on the grounds that Sheikh Balala was a Yemeni by descent and that he failed to renounce the status on his 23rd birthday in conformity with the Kenyan constitution that does not provide for dual citizenship. It was not until July 2002 that Sheikh Balala got back his Kenyan citizenship.
