Mombasa Port choice of CFS

Kwani how long does it take to clear a car at the port, mine arrived 3rd May and today is 13th May and I am still to receive my unit from the agent.

my friend imported a car from Japan , the car arrived on the 6th of April , he got his car yesterday . Point is you need a good clearing agent but don't expect to have your carin a week. It takes awhile and you have to be patient .

my agent clears my units in 4 working days after the ship has docked in MSA, a good efficient agent will sort you in under 5 working days

Clearing takes longer than the time it takes to get the car here by ship?I hope the car was not cleared earlier and was being used as a taxi..

Currently, there happens to be a huge pileup in Mombasa thanks to the heavy rains and the KPA personnel audit. Ships are taking up to a week waiting to discharge.

What will a good clearing agent do with the cargo still on the ship?

3rd Sunday and still waiting, agent says there is an issue with number plates cause of a transition from kcc to kcd,hope I will get it this week intact, I heard that they strip cars off radios, spare wheels, navigation systems, and replace alloys with normal wheels, wakifanya hivyo agent atabaki na hiyo gari.
