D&B Commentary:

Quote:
Our view.
 Going forward, we expect growth in non-interest income supported by growing alternate banking channels such as agency banking and mobile banking platform and the recent expansion of Bancassuarance arm.

 We expect further growth in loan book in 2015 driven by increased appetite for credit in Personal loans, Trade, Real estate and Agricultural loans which remain the key drivers of this growth.

 Customer deposits are expected to maintain the accelerated growth, mainly from increased customer numbers due to the recent cooperation with Mpesa and further integration and use of the mobile banking platform.
Pesa Nane plans to be shilingi when he grows up.

KCB net interest income 9.2bn vs Equity 7.6bn. KCB non funded income 4.6bn vs Equity 5.6bn....Total income KCB 13.8bn (+9%) vs Equity 13.2bn (+19%)....its a neck and neck race...KCB still ahead in getting customer deposits but Equity is catching up fast. Its going to be an exciting year

this is not a fair comparison, given how each utilizes the size of its capital resources, equity is king I will keep saying.
