3 is too low. Thing was well managed by the Government taking up he 23% stake. The downfall is now contained

Dont think so.The restating of profits came quickly on the heels of the ponzi scheme stories which indicates there is much more dirt that they are hiding and also this was the apparent 'jewel in the crown' for Rawat.Btw what was the official reason given for the profit restating? tip of the iceberg.

Britam Kenya has policies with titles such as "Supersaver plus", "invest plus plus" promising fishy returns just like the ones that Rawat was using as bait for unsuspecting wananinchi. if only someone would probe this further then the biggest ponzi in East Africa will unravel.. bei yangu ni kobole

I was hoping someone would mention this. A friend of mine was requested to sign up for one of the Britam unit trusts (or similar product) that promised an unrealistic ROI. Upon hearing this, I checked their website but the said product wasn't listed. I asked my pal who was quite enthused to approach a different britam agent and request for details of the product but this was immediately after the Mauritius scandal had been exposed. Interestingly, the new agent said no such product existed. Well, I wouldn't be surprised if no-one follows this up.

its called getting your house in order b4 mgeni afike. The Mauritius government will sell that stake in britam probably to a S.A or British co. Now if you can tell where the bottom will be, you can get in and have a bright future
