Eveready sinks into loss after factory closure

2014 Vs 2013
PAT [177.589m] vs 45.092m
EPS [0.85] vs 0.21
Closing price today 3.90

Profit from operations = 55m.loss was as a result of an extra ordinary one of cost relating to plant closure amounting to 246m

Paka cannot be helped. Instead of seeing opportunities, they see challenges. Insecurity should translate to more need for lighting
at night hence more demand for its products.

Then all the decoders coming into the country for digital migration must be having remote controllers, how about trying to sell spare batts to the buyers.

Car batteries, LiOH batteries - They should have diversified into these markets instead of paying paltry dividends to please please shareholders.

Lastly, anything the Mzungu cashes out from, be very careful before touching eg Paka, sameer, Dunlop.
